no worries, im having a clear out so pick your bits, got wheels, rear mudguard, spare tyre, handlebars, grips, levers etc ;)

yes but in code form, i will say the words mines a pint when we talk about the wheels and i will encrypt details about the mudguard by saying "is it your round again Michael?" nobody will suspect a thing :D

just discovered these pics on the camera - have made a bit more progress since they were taken last week:

washed the tyres - quite pleased with how they've turned out

the frame is less good - pretty battered, going to just keep tcutting and polishing for the moment, really needs a respray though

Dont go taking them decals off mate you wont get any replacements :( you'll probably have to mask them carefully if you are going to respray. They should have used the 16" redlines on this model, would have suited it loads more and been just like the Grifter XL, Raleigh probably using up their stock of 16" super grips :D

update: suspected stuck seat post is freed!! :D :D with no damage caused :shock: also got a new "avenir" seat for it in black with red trim - this will do until i manage to turn up an original. all systems are go!! will get some pics up soon
