its a bit worse condition than i'd hoped, first cleaning shows the paintwork is pretty ropey, needs respraying really. some of the stickers are in a pretty bad way also. will be getting through a fair bit of wirewool cleaning all the chrome!! will be keeping a look out for an xl seat :)

cheers mark! was really pleased to get this, been looking for a boxer, especially an xl, for my lad for a while. think the only bits i'll need are the impossible ones though, seat and stickers :( having said that, the chrome is peeling off the bars a bit and have been checking ebay for some red cable outers. not really sure how the wheels will turn out either

did you notice the yellow boxer form the same seller as this one? won that as well for a more friendly £4.20! plan is to go for a custom with me and the boy working as a team!

i think the yellow one is actually in better nick as well!! but it is missing the rear mudguard and chainguard and the seats pretty ropey. will take some pics tomorrow evening and post them up - not sure what it says on the bar pad - we shall find out tomorrow!

would certainly like to check out your boxer spares mate - going to try cleaning up everything i've got first though - try to keep it original where possible

here's pics of the yellow boxer - pretty rough loooking i'm sure you'll agree but hopefully a good starting point for a team effort resto/custom for me and the lad! hoping to fit some gears to this one so if anyone has an 16" rsw stylee rear wheel with sturmey hub you know where i am!
